POLICIES

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

-If you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment, there will be no fee charged to the card on file. (Microblading excluded, see below for microblading policy)

 

-If you cancel within the 24 hour time slot, there will be a 25% charge of the appointment cost to the card on file. 

 

-No shows will be charged 50% of appointment cost. 

 

-Because microblading is in high demand, my cancellation policy is very strict so that no slots are wasted. A no show means you lose your deposit + I charge the card on file for 50% of the service cost.

 

-No shows or late cancels for microblading touchups will be charged $50 for the hour in my book, effective July 22nd, 2017.

 

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR MICROBLADING SESSION WITHIN 7 DAYS OF YOUR APPOINTMENT, YOUR DEPOSIT IS NON-TRANSFERABLE. DEPOSITS ARE ALWAYS 100% NON-REFUNDABLE.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES & DISCLAIMERS

Microblading and fibroblast deposits must be paid upon booking to avoid cancellation of your appointment. All deposits are 100% non refundable under any circumstances.

Najla does NOT work overtop of any other artist's work. DO NOT schedule microblading if you have EXISTING WORK by another artist. You will not be refunded your deposit if you pay one without speaking with Najla first about it.

ALL COMMUNICATION REGARDING THE SALON/APPOINTEMNTS MUST BE DONE VIA EMAIL ONLY. PHONE COMMUNICATION IS NOT SUSTAINABLE DUE TO ME BALANCING A FULL BOOK ON TOP OF ALL CLIENT INQUIRIES, THANK YOU FOR YU=OUR COOPERATION.

Clients are solely responsible for reading all listed policies & clients must agree to respect said policies before committing to an appointment. 

 

Clients must wear their masks and wait in their vehicles for a text to prompt entry into the salon.

 

Client must book their follow up microblading session upon booking their initial session to avoid an extended wait time. My book fills up very quickly so waste no time grabbing your spot - I won't be staying after hours to squeeze touch ups in as we can proactively schedule sessions in advance.

 

I do not respond to client inquiries outside of business hours or work days - I will have an assistant helping manage all communication with clients but communication is limited as currently I myself run the business alone.

 

I reserve the right to refuse service to any client who verbally abuses myself or my staff.

 

Regarding all of my services, especially Microblading, I ask that clients consider their trust and confidence in me. If you are unsure of your decision or our session, PLEASE wait to schedule until you're fully confident in me as your artist. Please understand it's taken years for me to reach this level, and I pour my heart and soul into each and every brow. If i can sense that a client is questioning their decision, my skill, my advice, my expertise, then naturally I won't feel comfortable proceeding with the service because I can't work creatively or efficiently under immense anxiety, doubt or pressure. Please remember I'm a human doing my best & I'll always continue being transparent with my work, my skill & my methods. If I feel uncomfortable performing the service, I will have to cancel our session & the deposit will not be refunded but I will NOT charge the cancel fee as this is my call to protect myself and my mental health.

I founded this business in 2017 in hopes to shake the beauty industry into actively caring and fighting for the rights of others. Racism, homophobia, xenophobia, animal testing, etc,. have no place in beauty. I believe all businesses should be held accountable & should use their platforms for GOOD.

Covid

 

As of May 25th 2020:

- All clients must wear face masks to their scheduled appointments, whether purchased or homemade, they’ll need to have their mouths covered.

 

-Absolutely NO guests may be accompanying clients. No exceptions. No children, friends or family members. 

 

-Clients MUST wait in the car and wait to be texted or called in for their appointment. The lobby is NOT to be occupied at any time. Please remain patient and please be punctual, as the cancellation policy will still be strictly enforced. Please remember we have to run a tight ship so that everyone is granted their allotted time they’re paying for.

 

-Clients MUST sign the COVID19 liability waiver on our website Houseofwaxky.com before they enter our salon. If the waiver is not signed, the appointment will be cancelled and the cancellation fee will apply. We have strict guidelines to follow, so unfortunately we have to enforce this.

 

-ALL MICROBLADING AND FIBROBLAST APPOINTMENTS ARE STILL CASH ONLY. However, the payment MUST be handed over in an envelope or sealed bag. NOTHING will change here except for the cash has to be in an enclosed bag or envelope.

 

-All policies are remaining in place, with the addition of these featured policies. Please text the salon or shoot us an email if you have any questions!

CARD TRANSACTIONS:

We accept cash, Venmo, and Paypal free of any fees. GlossGenius, however, charges a 3.5% convenience fee for all transactions.

 

 

 

DISCLAIMER

We do not perform any permanent makeup or tattoo removal on minors. najla does not perform microblading on any clients who have previous work from other artists, no matter how old or faded.

 

fibroblast clients must book a patch test at least 2 weeks prior to their desired appt date.

all microblading and fibroblast appointments require a $100 deposit to be paid via venmo immediately upon booking. Najla's clients may venmo directly to @browsbynajla to secure appointments.
